This site stores very little in your browser, and none of it follows you anywhere else.

We run no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. Nothing here is used to build a profile of you or to sell to anybody.

THE COOKIES WE SET

Your language

A cookie named `kdo_locale` remembers whether you chose English or French, so the site opens in your language next time. It lasts a year, and it is only written when you actually choose a language — never from what your browser guessed.

Staying signed in

If you create an account, our sign-in provider Clerk sets cookies that keep you signed in and protect the form from being submitted by someone else. These are strictly necessary: without them you could not stay logged in.

KEPT ON YOUR DEVICE, NOT SENT TO US

Your basket and a few preferences live in your browser’s own storage. They never leave your device and we cannot read them from here.

• `kdo_cart` — what is in your basket.
• `kdo_favs` — the pieces you have saved.
• `kdo_text_scale` — your choice of text size.
• `kdo_last_order` — your most recent order number, so the site can take you back to it.

Clearing your browser data removes all of these. Your basket will be empty afterwards; your orders are unaffected, because those are held on our side.

PAYING

When you pay by card, Stripe sets its own cookies on the payment step to detect fraud. They are theirs, not ours, and they are governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.

TURNING THEM OFF

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the ones above will not stop you browsing, but you will be signed out, the site will not remember your language, and, depending on your browser, your basket may not survive a refresh.
